Welcome messages and default replies on Instagram and LINE
Automatically greet new followers on their first DM, with a default reply when no keyword matches — so no one gets left on read. Works on Instagram and LINE.
Welcome & default replies
Two ways to keep conversations going: greet new followers automatically on their first DM, and send a default reply when no keyword matches — so nobody gets left on read.
Welcome message
Sent automatically the first time someone DMs you, and only once.
Default reply
Sent automatically when a message doesn't match any keyword rule, so people know what to do next.
Turn on or off anytime
Each has its own switch; leave it blank to keep it off. They apply to whichever account is selected in the switcher at the top.
What it does
Every newcomer gets a reply, and quiet conversations get a nudge. Works on Instagram and LINE.
Tip
- Welcome messages and keyword replies are sent separately — if a newcomer opens with a keyword, they get the welcome first, then the answer.
- A default reply is your safety net for when nothing else matches. Point people somewhere, like “Reply ‘person’ and someone from our team will take over.”
- To set something different for one account, switch to that account at the top, then edit.
- This is set per account. On LINE, welcome messages and default replies usually use the free Reply API and only occasionally use push messages. If you're watching your quota, turn them on for Instagram only and skip LINE (don't create them under “All accounts”).
Want to try it yourself?
You can set up auto-replies on the Free plan, then decide whether to upgrade after your first customer.
