How to run a fair Instagram comment giveaway

Filter eligible entries from post comments and draw winners at random. Learn which requirements can be verified automatically, why likes and follows work on the honor system, and how to prove the draw wasn't rigged.

Giveaway helper

Pick a post, set entry requirements (comment keyword, time, friend mentions), and we'll draw winners fairly at random from the comments — with a draw animation.

    Choose the post or Reel for your giveaway, or paste its link.

  2. Set entry requirements

    For example: “comment ‘I want’,” “comment during June,” or “mention a friend.”

  3. Start draw

    Press it to play the animation and draw winners. Results are saved automatically.

  4. Notify winners

    Announce the results by @mentioning winners in a comment on the post, in one click.

What it does

Run a giveaway in one click — public, fair, and fun to watch — and add the winners to your contacts along the way.

Tip

  • Each draw saves the eligible entries and random seed, so you can prove it was fair and redraw later.
  • If a winner doesn't meet the requirements, click “Redraw” to pick someone else. The old record is kept.

How to set entry requirements

Only requirements we can check are applied automatically. The rest (likes, follows) work on the honor system plus a manual check.

  1. Auto-verifiable

    Comment keyword, comment time range, number of friends mentioned, and one entry per person.

  2. Honor-system requirements

    Instagram doesn't let us check “must follow / must like,” so they're listed as stated requirements. After the draw, check them yourself on Instagram.

  3. story mentions

    You can also use “share the post to your story and mention me” as the entry method (collected live during the giveaway).

Everyone drawn actually entered by the rules, and the process is transparent.

Tip

  • If a winner doesn't meet “must follow / must like,” redraw with one click.

Fairness and redraws

Every draw can be re-verified, so nobody can claim it was rigged.

  1. Random seed

    A random seed is generated at the moment of the draw and saved with the list of eligible entries.

  2. Redraw anytime

    Redraw when a winner isn't eligible. Each draw is saved separately, so the full history is kept.

  3. Exportable

    Download winners as a CSV, or create a shareable winners card.
