How to send broadcasts on LINE and Instagram

Message a group of contacts at once, using tags to target specific people. Also covers Instagram's 24-hour window and how LINE's message quota is counted.

Re-engagement broadcasts

Message a group of contacts at once — like “New arrivals are here” or “A deal just for regulars.” Use tags to send to just one group.

  1. Write a message

Choose which account to send from and write your message.

  2. Choose recipients

Use tags to target a group (e.g. vip / purchased). Leave blank to send to all contacts.

  3. Preview → Send

Use “Preview count” to check how many people will get it before sending.

What it does

Win back past customers by reaching a whole group at once, instead of DMing them one by one.

Tip

  • Instagram only allows messages to people who've messaged you in the past 24 hours. Anyone outside that window is skipped automatically, without errors. LINE has no such limit.
  • On LINE, each recipient uses 1 push message from your quota (about 200/month on LINE's free plan). It runs out fast with a big list, and going over means upgrading to a paid LINE plan — you'll see a reminder when you pick a LINE account. Instagram has no quota.
  • “Preview count” shows people who match and people who can actually be reached separately, so you know what to expect before sending.
  • Broadcasts are one-time and can't be unsent, so preview first.

Want to try it yourself?

You can set up auto-replies on the Free plan, then decide whether to upgrade after your first customer.
