Data deletion

You can ask us to delete your data from Hailory at any time. This page explains the three ways to do it and how long each takes.

1. Delete it yourself in the dashboard (account / workspace)

Settings → Workspace → Danger zone

After you submit a deletion request, we permanently delete your account and workspace data within 30 days. You can contact us to withdraw the request during that time.

2. Request deletion by email

If you can't log in, or would like us to handle it, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request” and include the email you log in with or your connected account details so we can verify your identity. We'll start once we've received and verified your request.

3. Meta (Facebook / Instagram) platform user data deletion

When you (an Instagram or Facebook user) remove our app from your Meta account settings, Meta automatically notifies us through a Data Deletion Callback to delete your data. Our callback URL:

Within 48 hours of receiving the request, we delete everything related to your Meta account, including:

Message history (message_logs)
Conversation states (conversation_states)
Contact entries (leads)

Once deletion is complete, you can check its status at /meta/deletion-status/{confirmation_code} (the confirmation_code is returned by Meta).

4. Deletion timelines

Meta user messages and contact data: deleted within 48 hours of a deletion callback request
Full account / workspace deletion: permanently deleted within 30 days of the request
Data kept by law: payment records are kept for 5 years under Taiwan's Business Entity Accounting Act, then deleted
